Answer: 423.11 m^2

Step by step explanation:

Area of a circle formula pi*r^2

First solve the area of the big circle

3.14*21^2=1384.74 m^2

Now find the are of the smaller circle

r=21-3.5=17.5
3.14*(17.5)^2=961.63 m^2

Now we can minus the small area off the big area to get the shaded area.

1384.74-961.63=423.11 m^2

So the area of the shaded region is 423.11 m^2

Please answer 1,2,3, and 4
Anika [276]

Answer:

1: "An equilateral triangle is never an obtuse triangle" & "An equilateral triangle is never an isosceles triangle."

2: Acute Isosceles Triangle

3: False! Option B.

4: D

Step-by-step explanation:

2: Isosceles Triangles have two equal sides. An acute triangle (or acute-angled triangle) is a triangle with three acute angles (less than 90°). An obtuse triangle (or obtuse-angled triangle) is a triangle with one obtuse angle (greater than 90°) and two acute angles.

3: An equilateral triangle is a triangle in which all the sides and all the angles are equal.

4: In order for a triangle to be isosceles, it has to have two same sides. For a triangle to be equilateral, all sides and angles need to be the same. Refer to reasoning in Question 2 for next explanation.

The area of a circle is 132.7 square cm. Find the diameter.
hram777 [196]

13 cm (approximately)

Step-by-step explanation:

Let the radius of the circle be 'r'.

Area of the circle = πr²

=> 132.7 = (22/7) r²

=> 6.5 ≈ r

Therefore, diameter = 2radius = 2(6.5) = 13 cm
