If r is a linear function with the slope that is not equal to zero which of the following is always true of its inverse function
elena-s [515]
Let's make up a linear function:  y = mx + b.

Find its inverse:

1) interchange x and y:   x = my + b                      x-b
2) solve this result for y:        my = x - b, or   y = ----------
                                                                                m
                             -1
3) replace y by  f      (x)

So long as m is not zero, this function is defined for all x.

I’m confused on this one
DanielleElmas [232]

The answer is C! For point "M" to move 180 degrees it has to move left as it's positioned on the right side for now. This eliminates answers A and D. Now, be sure to pay attention the trapezoid. Normally when shapes rotate 180, they completely flip and their coordinates are now located at different sides. Also, it is located at the "half-way mark" you can say. The answer is not B as the shape moved 270 degrees. Hope this helped :))
