I'm guessing on the make up of the matrices.
First off let's look at [C][F].
[C]=
[F]=
[C][F]=
where each element of [C][F] comes from multiplying a row of [C] with a column of [F].
Example: First element is product of first row and first column.
.
.
.
Now that we have [C][F], we can subtract it from [B], element by element,
[B]-[C][F]=
[B]-[C][F]=
.
.
.
If this is not how the matrices look, please re-state the problem and be more specific about the make up of the matrices (rows x columns).
Here's an example.
[A] is a 2x2 matrix. A=[1,2,3,4].
The assumption is that [A] looks like this,
[A]=
[B] is a 3x2 matrix. B=[5,6,7,8,9,10]
[B]=
The question got screwed at the end but I believe he is 19 miles north from starting position
Hey there!
4x + 6 < 18
SUBTRACT 6 to BOTH SIDES
4x + 6 - 6 < 18 - 6
CANCEL out: 6 - 6 because it give you 0
KEEP: 18 - 6 because it help compare to the x-value
SIMPLIFY IT!
4x < 18 - 6
4x < 12
DIVIDE 4 to BOTH SIDES
4x/4 < 12/4
CANCEL out: 4/4 because it give you 1
KEEP: 12/4 because it help give you the compared value to the x.
SIMPLIFY IT!
x < 12/4
x < 3
Therefore, your answer is: x < 3 (the graph is below)
Good luck on your assignment & enjoy your day!
