Which property of polynomial addition says that the sum of two polynomials
ArbitrLikvidat [17]

Answer:

The property of polynomial addition that says that the sum of two polynomial is always a polynomial is called closure property of addition or under addition.

Polynomials are closed under addition because when you add polynomials the letters and their exponents do no change, you just add the coefficients of the like terms (those with same letters raised to the same exponents), so the result will be other polynomial of the same kind, except for the terms that cancel (positive with negative) which does not change the fact that the result is still a polynomial.

In mathematics the closure property means that the result of an operation over a kind of "number" will result in a "number" of the same kind.

Sarah and Jean were able to sell 4 dozen of cupcakes in a hour at a school fair if this rate continue how many dozen s of cupcak
Alik [6]

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

Firstly,

We can tell by reading the question that they sell 48 cupcakes witch is 4 dozens every hour so if they continue to sell at that same rate then:

There are 8 hours between 9am and 5pm

∴ It is 48:1

That means 48 cupcakes per hour this is equation is a direct proportion so if any number increases so will the other

So if it is 48:1 then x:8 with be = 48x8

∴ Sarah and Jean will be able to sell 384 cupcakes

What is 14.36 rounded to the nearest tenth?
Vinil7 [7]
14.36 rounded to the nearest tenth is 14.4 (14.40).

Why?

Well because when rounding first we see what number we need to round. In this case it is 14.36 (3), next we look at the next number after the number which we need to round from which is 14..36 (6). If this number is 5 or MORE then we will round to the next number. But if it is LESS than 5 then we will keep it that number and add a 0 at the end. Since this number is AFTER 5 it will round up to 14.40.

So, 14.36 rounded to the nearest tenth is 14.40.

Hope I helped ya!!!
