As a nurse, part of your daily duties is to mix medications in the proper proportions for your patients. For one of your regular

patients, you always mix Medication A with Medication B in the same proportion. Last week, your patient's doctor indicated that you should mix 80 milligrams of Medication A with 48 milligrams of Medication B. However this week, the doctor said to only use 6 milligrams of Medication B. How many milligrams of Medication A should be mixed this week?

Answer:

Hey! I see you need some help, I gotchu.so heres what i got,

Medication A: 32 would be the main answer

Step-by-step explanation:

Week 1- even medication from A and medication B

Week2- Medication A: 80 milligrams    Medication B: 48 milligrams

week 3- Medication A:?              Medication B: 6

They seem to be reducing it by 42, so 48-42=6 (medication B)

So therefore, 80-42=32. would be for medication A

What is the probability that a person chosen at random from this group has brown or green eyes? startfraction 3 over 25 endfract
lianna [129]

Using it's concept, it is found that the probability that a person chosen at random from this group has brown or green eyes is of \frac{13}{25}.

What is a probability?

A probability is given by the number of desired outcomes divided by the number of total outcomes.

Researching the problem on the internet, it is found that the group has 20 + 6 + 17 + 7 = 50 people, of which 20 + 6 = 26 have brown or green eyes, hence the probability is given by:

p = 26/50 = 13/25.
