Surveys of the population to estimate the prevalence of a disease or exposure are which type of study?
snow_lady [41]

Answer:

Descriptive research

Explanation:

If our goal is to estimate the prevalence of a disease or exposure in a population, we are talking about descriptive research. Whenever we are trying to describe the characteristics of a population or a phenomenon (in this case the frequency of a disease and exposure to it) we are doing a descriptive study. The results of this type of studies are usually represented in descriptive statistics and percentages. For example, from this sort of survey we would find out the percentage of population that suffer this disease.

What strategies did freedwomen use to strengthen their families and communities during Reconstruction?
valentina_108 [34]

Answer:

The women rightly took over the homes and became heads of the family

Explanation:

The reconstruction period which was between 1865 to 1877 was when the law of the nation and the constitution were all altered to accommodate the fundamental rights of those who were former slaves and the government with people of both races came into power through the defeated confederacy.

Since men were assigned to different war fronts, the women rightly took over the homes and became heads of the family, caring for the members of their households and their farms through the entire nation. These women also got better education and illiteracy levels reduced radically amongst them and they became better positioned to get paid jobs. They worked in retail establishments and manufacturing plants.

Kryger [21]

Answer:

Mark has formed a dispositional attribution

Explanation:

A dispositional attribution consists in assigning the outcome of an event to internal personality factors.

In this example, Mark has observed that Juan is a good team leader in basketball practice. Instead of thinking that Juan is a good leader because the game requires him to act in such a way (this would be an example of a situational attribution), he considers that Juan is himself a good leader, because he has the personality characteristics of one, regarless of the situation in which he might be involved.
