Answer:

The first multicellular organisms occurred from symbiosis (cooperation) of different species of single-cell organisms, each with different roles. Over time these organisms would become so dependent on each other they would not be able to survive independently, eventually leading to the incorporation of their genomes into one multicellular organism.

Explanation:

Multicellularity has evolved independently at least 46 times in eukaryotes,[5][6] and also in some prokaryotes, like cyanobacteria, myxobacteria, actinomycetes, Magnetoglobus multicellularis or Methanosarcina. However, complex multicellular organisms evolved only in six eukaryotic groups: animals, fungi, brown algae, red algae, green algae, and land plants.[7] It evolved repeatedly for Chloroplastida (green algae and land plants).

According to selye's general adaptation syndrome, in which stage do glands throughout the body manufacture different hormones th
vichka [17]
The correct answer is resistance stage.

Hans Selye was a very important endocrinologist working in the field of biological stress. He developed the General Adaptation Syndrome (GAS) which is a model describing an animal's response to stress. GAS is comprised of three stages; the alarm, the resistance and the exhaustion stage.

During the resistance stage, the body's glands produce and secrete several hormones which protect the individual from the perceived stressor. Some of the hormones produced at this stage are the glucocorticoids.

Since we now have the technology to use genetic fingerprinting to catch criminals, should we make every US resident provide a bl
rosijanka [135]

Answer:

It can be easily exploited by criminals, and it puts our undercover police officers and FBI officers in danger. Also, police officers are already swamped with work and criminal activity as is. It would also be ridiculously hard to get everybody already registered as a resident it the U.S. Take into account the different family types, and how hard it is for single mothers with children.

On the other hand, adding this, despite the obvious hardships, will make catching criminals much easier. Our blood DNA is unique to every human being. It would be extremely helpful to have a system like this in place. This would, at first, be hard to establish, but once it settles in, police officers would be able to spend much more time at home with their families instead of filling out paperwork for overtime.
