Maddy, Carole, and Maria are enjoying a day at the beach. They are body surfing and playing on their boards. Imagine that wave A
Nuetrik [128]
When the two waves meet, there are two possibilities:

1.If the waves were both in phase and moving in the same direction, then, the amplitude will double, this is called constructive interference.
2. If the two waves were exactly out of phase, then they will try to move the water surface in all directions, thus, no movement and the waves cancel out. This is called destructive interference.

What is the discharge of water moved by a river that has an area of 750m and is traveling 4 m/s?
olga_2 [115]
The question is simply asking for the volumetric flow rate of the water in the river. It is the volume of fluid which passes per unit time. It has units of m^3 /s. We calculate as follows:

Q = 750 m^2 (4 m/s ) = 3000 m^3/s

Hope this answers the question. Have a nice day.

Is a dominant trait always the most common trait in a human population? (Plz explain why or why not :D)
Dimas [21]
No, what determines a dominant gene is how many copies of that gene exists within the parent. This doesn't mean it will be the most common because of recessive genes. It doesn't matter how many copies a dominant gene has, a recessive gene can still appear in the offspring.
