How to solve 15=x-3 ;_;

The top answer is right, it’s 18.
15=x-3
you’d add 3 to 3 to get rid of it (because it’s -3) and add it to also 15. 15+3= 18 so x=18

f(-x) = -( -4x^3 + 4x ) = - f(x)  [between the bracket was the original fn]

f(x) = - f(-x)   
so the function is odd also called symmetric about the origin
