When people started to like and wonder about what the shoes Michael Jordan was wearing the people started to talk about his sneakers which, when the first Air Jordan came out it flew out the shelves so quickly. As stated in the text "When Air Jordan's went on sale in April 1985, they flew off shelves. In just one year, Nike made $126 million on Air Jordan's alone. No other sneaker in history had been as lucrative." Showing how the endorsement affected the sneaker industry.
