max height given by the derivative of above formula,  being equal to zero

0 = -8t +24

8t = 24

t = 3

at 3.0000000 seconds there will be a max in the rockets height ( that was nice of who ever figured out this formula to make it so easy )

y = height

y= -4*3^2+24*3+2

h = -36 +72 +2

h = 38  feet?   we were not told if the formula is in feet.  ( assume that it is , but double check it)
