Question

I know this isn't math but what would be the topic sentence? "First of all, being alive and healthy is key to a persons happiness. For example, my friends mom, a poor woman, went through this situation a few years ago." Which one of the two sentences is the topic sentence? Or is it both? Help

The first sentence starting with, "First of all..." is the topic sentence. The second is not because it is adding detail to the sentence given.
