For 1, the answer is C because the 6 (amount of points for a touchdown) is subtracted, meaning they did not get those points. For 2, the answer is A because Jacob would have to subtract 3 in order to get rid of it on one side. Then he would have to divide by 2, or in this case multiply 1/2 since it is the same thing, to get his answer.
