Socratic maieutics or Socrates 'questioning is the term that refers to the educational method, where students were asked questions successively, stimulating students' reasoning and logical, fast and balanced thinking, in addition to promoting their emotional and mental control.
This method gets its name because it was created by Socrates who developed it with the aim that his students were led to discover the truth through the consecutive thinking created by the questions.
