Yes, the 36" shelf can hold all 24 books. As 5/4=1.25" meaning, you take 1.25X24=30". So 24 books only take up 30 inches of a 36 inch shelf.

A robot can complete 7 tasks in
SSSSS [86.1K]

Answer:

5/42 is your answer take robot to complete

7 tasks = 5/6

1 task = 5/42 hour.

1 hour / (5/42 hour/task) = 15/2 tasks = 8.2 tasks.

half a task isn’t a complete task, so the answer is 8 tasks.

A magician is performing for an audience of 32 men and 20 women. He selects a volunteer from the audience, has the volunteer sta
statuscvo [17]
32+20=52 so there are 52 people in all.
32/52 people are men.
we now have to subtract 1 from this fraction like so 32-1/52-1 since the magician took away 1 man from the audience (therefore reducing the amount of men as well as the audience as a whole) resulting in 31/51
we multiply 32/52 with 31/51 to get 248/663. simply turn this fraction into a percent by multiplying the quotient by 100 and rounding it to the nearest tenth to get 37.4%

stich3 [128]

Answer:

z^1+3z+2

Step-by-step explanation:

(z+1)(z+1)

Multiply each term in the first parenthesis by each term in the second parenthesis

Z x z+2z+z+2

Calculate the product

z^2 +2z+z+2

collect like terms

z^2+3z+2

2z+z

If a term doesnt have a coefficient it is considered that the coefficient is 1

2z+1z

(2+1)z

(2+1)z

3z

z^2+3z+2

faltersainse [42]
(x + 3) (x + 2) = 0
To solve it, the most appropriate technique is:
1.) zero product property
The solutions are:
(x + 3) = 0
x = -3
(x + 2) = 0
x = -2

x² + 6 = 31

To solve it, the most appropriate technique is:
2.) square root property
x² = 31-6
x² = 25
x = +/- root (25)
x = +/- 5
The solutions are:
x = 5
x = -5
