According to holton (source 1), what was the main motivation of the founding fathers to create the constitution in 1787?
Elza [17]

I would say there were more than two things that motivated the Founding Fathers to write the Constitution. The motivations of these people were many. But in terms of broad motives, I think we can pin down two:

To create a workable government. In the eyes of many Founding Fathers, the Articles of Confederation did not give enough power to the central government. The Articles government did not work. They drafted a new document to fix its problems. They did things like allowing Congress to tax, creating an executive and judicial branch to enforce Congress’ laws, and establishing for sure that the Federal Government had supremacy over the states.

To create a limited government. Nevertheless, the Founding Fathers (nearly all of whom would be considered libertarians today) did not want the Federal Government to have broad authority over our lives. Their federalist beliefs convinced them that broad authority should rest in the hands of the states, or better yet, the individual. They accomplished this by giving all legislative power to Congress and then by assigning specific powers to Congress. The enumerated powers are intended to limit Congress’ actions and prevent it from assuming it has power in any area.

Which of the following statements best describes the course of the Korean War during the last year-and-a-half of the conflict?
Sholpan [36]

Answer:

i don't know what the statements are but, i think the answer is B) Neither side could win an advantage.

Explanation:

Korean War was a war fought on the Korean Peninsula from 1950 to 1953 after troops from communist North Korea, armed with Soviet weapons, invaded democratic South Korea, prompting the United States and the United Nations to send forces to support South Korea and fight to unify the Korean Peninsula into one democratic nation, which in turn prompted China to join the war on North Korea's side; at war's end, the peninsula remained divided into two nations

-The war began when North Korean troops armed with Soviet weapons invaded South Korea. Their aim was to unite all of Korea under communist rule. Truman, viewing the invasion as a test of American will, ordered U.S. forces to help South Korea repel the invaders. Truman turned to the United Nations for support. A UN resolution condemned the North Korean invasion and called on member states to aid South Korea.

Englishmen became so disillusioned with the French Revolution that they eventually rejected all the goals and ideals it presente
Shkiper50 [21]
In general, yes it is true that Englishmen became so disillusioned with the French Revolution that they eventually rejected all the goals and ideals it presented, since the Revolution quickly became extremely violent and despotic, which went against the original principles of the Revolution itself.
