Answer:

parents are overprotective. It honestly frustrates me when half the time I’m never allowed to go anywhere with my friends, and go to places without my parents having to be …show more content…

for example, when I go out with my friends, they always tell me that I have to be home by 10:00, and I have to obey them and go home on time because when I’m not on time there will be a consequence. Last month I went to my best friend’s birthday party and I was surprised that my parents allowed me to go out but I have to be home by 10:00 pm. I was enjoying my time at the party and I didn’t even notice the time and it was 1:00 am. I looked at my phone my parents have 25 missed call and I knew that I’m in trouble. I was grounded for 2 weeks and my mom confiscated my phone because I didn’t answer her phone call. I didn’t feel bad because it’s actually my fault if I was really aware of my time I wouldn’t be on that situation and I still love my …show more content…

My mom used to tell me in the old days they were more strict than today. Their parents don’t let them go out without any companion. They had to do their chores every day before they could go out, and their parents also picked the right guy for them and that is hard because being with a guy that they don’t love is totally unfair. I can’t imagine placing myself in that situation but my parents are using that rule to me and it’s so unfair for my part. For example, there was a time that I had to go to my friend’s birthday party, and my mom wouldn’t let me go out without any companion, so I have to bring my cousin with me to be sure that I went there and didn’t go some other place. I mean I’m old enough to go there alone without any companion with me. I just want to do my own thing and just be me. I want to be independent, and my parents just don’t get it. My parents are being strict because they are afraid of losing me. As I am their only child it’s their responsibility to protect me.

Strong readers make connections with the texts they read to form a deeper understanding. There are four kinds of connections rea
ASHA 777 [7]

Answer:

I imagine It may be difficult for only children to understand the kind of brotherly relationship that includes both devoted love and the most ruthless hatred. But my personal experience allowed me to better understand the brother´s relationship and therefore the text itself.

Explanation:

Text-to-self connections are the most interesting for me. Books often provide me comfort and helpful tools to apply in my personal life. The Outsider made me think of my family, specifically my relationship with my brothers. I love both of them, but family issues, mostly related to financial problems, often get in the way of us having a good relationship. We fight a lot.

I find a sign of hope in how Darry and Ponyboy reconcile at the end, at Sodapop´s request. Their brotherhood overcomes Dally’s and Johnny’s deaths while strengthening their family bond. I hope my brothers and I can someday do the same with our own issues.

Write a letter to your friend talling him or her about what you intend to do it your plan after leaving school
Leno4ka [110]

Answer:

Letter to a friend about future plans after school.

Explanation:

24 Ashgrove Hills

New York

My dear Sammy,

I know we haven't really talked about what we plan to do after we finish school. And I know it's time to get to this point where we talk about it so that we may have an idea of what we both like.

But like you said, we're still so young to even think about what is for the future. But at the same time, we must also plan ahead so that we don't make mistakes like most youngsters. School is the end of our childhood and eventually, we may go to universities and then on to wider options.

But as of now, as far as I am concerned, I think I will continue with my studies and try to follow in my father's footsteps and try to get my doctorate degrees, if possible, and be a lecturer. I have always been fascinated with teaching and the idea of helping others shape their future and help in the process. So, for me, I think I will go to university and then see where that goes. That's the plan for now. Please let me know what your plan is.

Keep in touch and I will keep you updated. Take good care of yourself.

Love,

Sally.
