There's a seasonal show called the Amazing Race. I am chosen to participate in it, my partner is Fransteria. I am the leader of our team. In this game, we have to chose the best path, we have to calculate the fastest way to victory. A map full of triangles will be given to us for the first path. We will get to know about more details later.

Please may someone help me with these two questions I'm struggling with above.
34kurt

Answer:

Perimeter = 21 units

Volume = 110 cubic units

Step-by-step explanation:

Let the center of circle be (x,y).

(x+2)^{2} +(y-7)^{2} = (x)^{2}+(y+2)^{2}

4x - 18y = - 45

(x)^{2}+(y+2)^{2}=(x-2)^{2}+(y-2)^{2}

4x + 8y = 4

x + 2y = 1

Solving these 2 equations,

4 - 26y = -45

y = \frac{49}{26}

x = \frac{-36}{13}

radius = 3.35

Perimeter = 2\pi r = 21 units

Volume of cylinder = \pi r^{2} h

We have to add the volumes of the cylinders.

Volume of smaller cylinder = \pi \times 2^{2} \times 2 = 8\pi

Volume of larger cylinder = 27 \pi

Total volume = 35\pi = 110 cubic feet

Write the equation of the quadratic function in standard form represented by the graph
Nutka1998 [239]
Hello :
f(x) = <span>a(x-k)²+k....... the point vertex is (h , k )
in this exercice : h = -3 and k = -1    s0 f(x) = a(x+3)²-1
find : a
but f(0)=8
a(0+3)² -1 = 8
9a-1=8
9a =9
a=1
f(x) =(x+3)²-1 =x²+6x+9-1
f(x) = x²+6x+8    .... (</span><span>the quadratic function in standard form )</span>
