Answer:

x = n - m - p

Step-by-step explanation:

Solve m+x=n- p for x.

Start by subtracting m from both sides.  This isolates x as desired:

m + x = n - p

-m       = -m

--------------------

x = n - m - p

(-2/3, sqrt5/3) is a point on a unit circle. Find the cosine, cosecant, and sine of the angle.
Nana76 [90]

Look at the picture.

\csc\theta=\dfrac{1}{\sin\theta}=\dfrac{1}{\frac{y}{r}}=\dfrac{r}{y}

We have the right triangle x, y and r. From the Pythagorean theorem we have:

r^2=x^2+y^2\to r=\sqrt{x^2+y^2}

We have the point

\left(-\dfrac{2}{3};\ \dfrac{\sqrt5}{3}\right)

Substitute:

r=\sqrt{\left(-\dfrac{2}{3}\right)^2+\left(\dfrac{\sqrt5}{3}\right)^2}\\\\r=\sqrt{\dfrac{4}{9}+\dfrac{5}{9}}\\\\r=\sqrt{\dfrac{9}{9}}\\\\r=1

\csc\theta=\dfrac{1}{\frac{\sqrt5}{3}}=\dfrac{3}{\sqrt5}=\dfrac{3\cdot\sqrt5}{\sqrt5\cdot\sqrt5}=\boxed{\dfrac{3\sqrt5}{5}}

Katie is building a rectangular wall. The wall will be 332 bricks wide and 39 bricks tall. She has 15,000 bricks. Does she have
agasfer [191]
Katie has enough bricks because it only takes 12,948 bricks to build the wall. To get 12,948, you will multiply 332 by 39. So basically you are multiplying the width by how tall it is.

Help asap do all show work
love history [14]

y=-x

slope for perp line = 1

2y=-x+6

y=-1/2x +3

slope for perp line = 2

15.

i don’t wanna do all sorry it’s a lot of work so i’ll tell u how to do it instead. first write it in slope intercept form which is

y-y1=m(x-x1)

it’s parallel which means it shares the same slope. if it’s perpendicular it would be opposite reciprocals so for -3/2 the perp slope would be 2/3.

the line is

y+1=3/4(x-4)

we distribute the 3/4 so it’s now

y+1=3/4x-3

then we subtract the 1

y=3/4x-4 is the equation boom done
