With the earthquake, there was a lot of disaster, loss of life and property of a lot of people. Since with the messages that Taliban gave to the people, they got convinced that he ill help the people and the people stood by his side but his main purpose was to extend his power.

On 8th October, 2005, an Earthquake hit the home land of Malala. With that earthquake there was a lot of disaster and loss of life and property of the people. In that disaster, more than 73000 people were killed and 128,000 people were injured. A lot of people lost their homes and their shelters. More than 18,000 children also died.

During this time, Taliban spread his messages in which he was trying to convince the people that he will help them and is on their side. People also got convinced and supported him totally. But his main motive was not to help people but to increase his own power.
