Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

since there is no given formula I'm guessing that's what we want to find?

use the dist. = rate * time   formula for this kind of problem

or  d = r*t     ( this looks like the word  "dirt" to me so I call this the dirt formula partly b/c it's dirt simple, and it's generally about moving across some give dist. of dirt  :P )

so Jean's rate is 64 MPH

her total distance is 448 miles

rearrange the  d = rt  formula so that you are solving for the thing you don't know.. yet....   t (time)  for this case

soooo...

d/r = t

plug in number

448 / 64 = t

7 = t  (in hours)

Is y/7 = 2/x direct variation?
jenyasd209 [6]

Answer:

It is not direct variation

Step-by-step explanation:

y/7 = 2/x

y = 7×2/x

y = 14/x

And

y = k/x

k = 14 which is the constant of proportionality

: y ∞ 1/x

This is inverse variation

In a factory, 53 workers receive a wage of 7,576 each per month. Find the total wages received by all the workers for one financ
Olin [163]

Step-by-step explanation:

as you know, there are 12 months per year.

also, the word "annual" means "per year" (of again 12 months).

each worker gets 7,576 per month.

that means each worker gets an annual salary of

7,576 × 12 = 90,912

the salaries/wages of all 53 workers together in a year are then

90,912 × 53 = 4,818,336
