Answer:

S = 0.9[1500 + 0.25(1500)]

Step-by-step explanation:

Mr. Kory sold corn dogs in July = 1500

Price at which he sold the corn dogs = $1 each

If he lowers the price by 10% then the price of each corn dog = $1 - (10& of $1)

= 1 - (0.10)

= $0.90

Price of corn dogs in August = $0.90

By lowering the price, number of corn dogs sold increases by 25%.

Number of corn dogs sold in August,

= 1500 + (25% of 1500)

= 1500 + (1500 × 0.25)

= 1500(1 + 0.25)

Total amount of money by selling corn dogs in August,

S = 0.9[1500(1 + 0.25)]

S = 0.9[1500 + 0.25(1500)]

Answer:

a) cluster sampling

Step-by-step explanation:

In cluster sampling method, each member of a population is assigned to one and only one group.This means clusters are formed through probability method usually a simple random sampling.The participants in the clusters are the only one to be surveyed.

In this example, simple random sampling is used to identify 12 home rooms(cluster) where a group of 20 students (participants) in each room is given the survey.

Question 1
777dan777 [17]

Answer:

There would be 94 tiles.

Step-by-step explanation:

The number of tiles is given by the following equation:

n = 6 + 4p

In which p is the current position.

How many tiles would there be in position 22?

This is n when p = 22. So

n = 6 + 4*22 = 6 + 88 = 94

There would be 94 tiles.

Select the correct answer.
A and АВ:

Which matrix is matrix B?
Kruka [31]

Answer:

Option B

Step-by-step explanation:

Looking at the options, option B is correct because when multiplying it by matrix A, it yields the matrix AB as follows;

First row of A multiplied by first column of matrix in option D;

(1 × -1) + (0 × 0) + (0 × 0) = -1 which corresponds to the first number on the first row of Matrix AB

Since majority of matrix AB are zero, I will just prove the ones that are not zero.

Thus;

Second row of matrix A is multiplied by second column of matrix in option D;

(0 × 0) + (-1 × -1) + (0 × 0) = 1 which is same as 2nd number on second row in matrix AB

Lastly, third row of matrix A is multiplied by third column of matrix in option D;

(0 × 0) + (0 × 0) + (1 × -1) = -1 which is same as third number in third row in matrix AB

AlladinOne [14]
If all 22 tables had 6 people, there would be 132 people seated. There are 13 more than that, so 13 tables have 7 people.

The parking rates at the hospital’s parking garage are 50 cents for the first hour and 25 cents for each additional hour. If Jua
Bad White [126]
The total charge for Juan in the parking spot would be $2.25.

Since we know one of those 8 hours is 50 cents, we can multiply .25 by 7 which would give us 1.75. Then we know that the first hour, as stated above, is going to be .50, so we can add that to our total which is 2.25.

Hope this helps!
