Chapter 3 discussed cell structure and functions, and Chapter 4 discussed the organization and function of the human body. When

viewed together, this implies the functions of the human body are dependent upon cellular activity. Explain why this would be correct. An important cellular structure is the cell (plasma) membrane. Answer and explanation:

The cell membrane has a major role in achieving homeostasis, that being as follows: The cell membrane has two layers that do not allow the transfer of water and ions. This makes possible the fact that cells concentrate more sodium ions outside the cell. The cell membrane also performs the task of pumping water in and out, thus affecting the concentration of the cytosol. To conclude, thanks to the cell membrane, cells can adjust to changing temperatures.

RUDIKE [14]
I believe the answer is: She made friends with the creature by throwing him a red rubber ball.

Despite its scary features, Cerberus is basically a pet dog that is told to guard the gate. (even though the gate that it protects is the gate of hell rather than the gate of normal household).
So annabeth instinctively think that Cerberus must be bored since He got no friend and attention in that place and play fetch with the ball that she stole from the Waterworld gift store.
