How did early people adapt to their new environments?
nikitadnepr [17]

Answer with Explanation:

The early people adapted to their new environments in many ways.

During those days, people started putting a lot of effort in order for them to adapt to their environment. For example, in the Neolitihic Era, <em>people realized to stop moving from one place to another and just "settle in one place." </em>

Before this, they already started building fires in order to protect them from harsh weather and climate and serve as a means to cook their food. They also made clothes made of fur, grass, leaves, etc. and wrap them around to serve as protection. <u>When they started living in communities, that is settling down in one place, they experienced an incredible change.</u>

One major change was seen on how they brought water from a natural source to an area without a reliable source (irrigation). In this case, the early people were able to provide water to the different areas that were distant from the natural water supply. This can be seen in the <em>early civilization of Mesopotamia,</em> where people dug trenches in order to serve water to other areas.

In what way are ancient Egyptian hieroglyphs like letters in the English alphabet?
Illusion [34]
They are similar because:
1) both are writing systems that code language: that is, anything said in a language can be written with them and they can be read aloud

2) some of the hieroglyphs refer to meaning, but some to sounds - just like letters

3) also, our alphabet actually comes from the Hieroglyphs - though the Greek script.
