The main goal of communism was to achieve a perfect, classless, society and an end to the "unfairness" of capitalism.

Explanation:

Communism is a form of socialism that achieves to remove the upper class, middle class, and the lower/working class. The main reason why communism was invented was to help out the poor peasants in order to help them improve their standards of lives. While this was good for peasants receiving government help, anyone that wasn't a peasant had gotten their property and belongings stripped away and given out.
