Archy [21]
Hey there!

It can be assumed that the two black guinea pigs have one dominant gene, black fur, and one recessive gene, white fur. Using BB, Bb, and bb, when you look at this on a Punnett square, one out of the four boxes will be BB, which will end up with black fur, two boxes will be Bb, which will also end up with black fur, and one box will be bb, which will end up with white fur. If the parent guinea pigs were BB, all of the offspring would be black. If they were bb, they would be white instead of black.

Hope this helped you out! :-)

During osmosis, which of the following will occur if the left side of a selectively permeable membrane has a higher solute conce
storchak [24]

Explanation:

Water molecules from the less conentrated right side, will flow into the left side til they equilibrate- at equilibrium both sides will have the same concentration of solute.

In diffusion small water molecules can move across the phospholipid bilayer acts as a semi-permeable membrane into the extracellular fluid or the cytoplasm which are both hydrophilic and contain large concentrations of polar water molecules or other water-soluble compounds. Similarly, during osmosis the water passes through the membrane due to the difference in osmotic pressure on either side of the phospholipid bilayer, this means that the water moves from regions of high osmotic pressure/concentration to regions of low osmotic pressure /concentration.

Which gaseous giants did Renaissance scientists such as Galileo know about?
Anna007 [38]

The correct answer is:

a. Jupiter

Explanation:

In 1610, Galileo Galilei turned his rudimentary telescope on Jupiter and understood that it had 4 large moons orbiting it: Io, Europa, Ganymede, and Callisto. This was an amazing discovery because it explained that Earth was not the center of the Universe as champions of the geocentric view assumed.
