Which underlying American value is being expressed by the passage of anti-discrimination laws?
skelet666 [1.2K]

Hi!

In my opinion, A. Equality would be the most sensical option to choose.

Discrimination defines as, "the unjust or prejudicial treatment of different categories of people or things, especially on the grounds of race, age, etc." Equality has a huge role in part of discrimination. For example, a black person may think that a white person has more than him. He would think it's unfair. This would be discrimination, thinking about how unequal and unjust it is because the white person has more rights (or any object/thing) than him.

Hope this helps, have a wonderful day/night! :)
