Solution :

Given, A King Size waterbed has the following dimensions 72 in. x 84 in. x 9.5in. It takes 240.7 gallons of water to fill it, which would weigh 2071 pounds.

Volume of the King Size Waterbed, V = length X width X height

V= 72\:inch\times84\:inch\times9.5\:inch
\\\\V=57456\:cubic\: inch

We know that,

1 \:cubic\:inch=\frac{1}{1728} \:cubic\:foot\\\\
\Rightarrow57456 \:cubic\:inch=\frac{1}{1728} \times57456= 33.25\: cubic\:feet

Weight of  33.25 cubic foot water = 2071 pounds

Weight of  water in 1 cubic foot water = =\frac{2071}{33.25} =62.29\:pounds\:per\:cubic\:foot

Hence, Water weighs 62.29 pounds per cubic foot.

valentina_108 [34]

Given that:

Miles traveled the fastball in 2 seconds = 60.5 ft

So, the ball traveled in one second

\begin{gathered} =\frac{\text{Miles traveled in 2 seconds}}{2} \\ =\frac{60.5}{2} \\ =30.25 \end{gathered}

The ball travels 30.25 miles per second.

Explain how to find the estimated sum of <br><br><br> 5<br> 8<br> +<br> 2<br> 9<br> .
mina [271]

The estimated sum of the numbers fifty-eight (58) and twenty-nine (29) is equal to ninety (90).

<h3>What is the difference between a regular sum and an estimated sum?</h3>

In an estimated sum, the numbers are rounded; on the other hand, in a regular sum, the numbers are not changed.

<h3>What is the estimated sum of 58 and 29?</h3>

1. Round the numbers:

  • 58 = 60 as this number is nearest to 60 than to 58.
  • 29= 30 because of the same reason explained above.

2. Add the rounded numbers:

  • 60 + 30 = 90

0 less than or equal to theta less than 2pi
Arisa [49]

Answer:

theta = 4.5642792103077898247

Step-by-step explanation:

0 <= theta < 2Pi sin(theta) = 1/2

so

2Pi sin(theta) = 1/2

Pi sin(theta) = 1/4

sin(theta) = 1/(4Pi)

sin(theta)  = .0795774715459

theta = arcsin(.0795774715459) = 4.5642792103077898247
