First, we can find that the kitten runs 4 meters per second because 2/3 of 6 is 4

Now we can find how far the puppy will go in 15 seconds
If he goes 6 meters in one second, we do 6*15 to get 90 meters

If the kitten goes 4 meters in one second, we do 4*15 to get 60 meters

So to find the distance between them we do 60+90 to get 150 meters

Answer:

mean= 90

Step-by-step explanation:

The mean is the terms added together, then divided by the number of terms (in this case, 8):

Adult male heights have a normal probability distribution with a mean of 70 inches and a standard deviation of 4 inches. What is
raketka [301]

Answer: 0.5

Step-by-step explanation:

Given : Adult male heights have a normal probability distribution .

Population mean : \mu = 70 \text{ inches}

Standard deviation: \sigma= 4\text{ inches}

Let x be the random variable that represent the heights of adult male.

z-score : z=\dfrac{x-\mu}{\sigma}

For x=70, we have

z=\dfrac{70-70}{4}=0

Now, by using the standard normal distribution table, we have

The probability that a randomly selected male is more than 70 inches tall :-

P(x\geq70)=P(z\geq0)=1-P(z

Hence, the probability that a randomly selected male is more than 70 inches tall = 0.5

The ratio of the measures of all three angles in a triangle is 14:5:11. Find the measures of the angles.
Maru [420]

Answer:

30, 66 and 84 degrees.

Step-by-step explanation:

The number of degrees in a triangle is 180 degrees.

Work out the 'multiplier':

It = 180 / (14+5+11)

= 180/30

= 6.

So the angles are:

14*6 = 84

5*6  = 30

11*6  = 66.
