Television was invented by Paul Nipkow in the mid 1880’s, the last major advancement made to this tech was made around 35 years ago.(HDTV it was an adjustment made in 1993, well it was started in 1980, but was officially released in 1993) The most important use of the Televisions was for advertising and entertainment, there were no gaming systems back then. It affected the 20th century by allowing advertising much simpler and to where it could reach many more people. Another way it affected the 20th century was by allowing more advanced forms of entertainment, such as movies, tv shows, and games!
Article IV section 2 of the United States Constitution includes the Privileges and Immunities Clause. However, in addition to this, it also contains the Extradition Clause and the Fugitive Slave Clause.
The Extradition Clause states that a person charged in any state with treason, felony or other crime and fleeing from justice is found in another state, may be extradited to the state from which he fled on request of the executive authority of that same state.
The Fugitive Slave Clause stated that fugitive slaves who scaped to a different state were not to be liberated, but to be returned to their masters. However, the clause was rendered moot when the Thirteenth Amendment abolished slavery.
Sandford, which said that all people of African descent, free or enslaved, were not United States citizens and therefore had no right to sue in federal court. In addition, he wrote that the Fifth Amendment protected slave owner rights because enslaved workers were their legal property.
Because federalism is a compound form of government, combining a general government with regional governments, the constitutional principle of federalism is seen in the amendment process through state involvement. Amendments are proposed in Congress and are ratified (or not ratified) by the states. Another example is the ability for the states to propose a constitutional amendment, as they can call for a constitutional convention if two-thirds of state legislatures are in agreement. This has never happened before, but it is possible under the Constitution.
