(This may be completely wrong because it's from a religious PoV) I believe it isn't. I believe the first people on Earth were Adam and Eve, and that they lived in peace, under God, and the only time they had a problem is when the serpent (the Devil disguised as a snake) told them to eat a fruit from the Garden, and when they did, they sinned, meaning they realized they were naked, and now humans don't live as long as they used to.
