Answer:

Just multiply 9.6*4.9 which is 47.04 m^2.

You can basically cut the shape in half, then put the shapes back together to look like a rectangle. The area formula is bh, or 9.6*4.9. Ignore the 11 m.

How much smaller is the sum of the first 1000 natural numbers than the sum of the first 1001 natural numbers?
aleksandr82 [10.1K]

ANSWER

1001

EXPLANATION

The sum of the first n - natural numbers is

S_n=  \frac{n}{2} (2a + d(n - 1))

The sum of the first 1000 terms is

S_{1000}=  \frac{1000}{2} (2(1) + 1(1000 - 1))

S_{1000}=500 (1001)

S_{1000}=500500

The sum of the first 1001 terms is

S_{1001}=  \frac{1001}{2} (2(1) + 1(1001 - 1))

S_{1001}= 1001 \times (501)

= 501501

The difference is

501501 - 500500= 1001

Kruka [31]

Answer:

The diameter of the specimen in centimeters is 103 cm.

Step-by-step explanation:

In order to determine the diameter in centimeters of the largest specimen of jellyfish, knowing that said diameter is 1.03 meters, and that 1 meter is equal to 100 centimeters, the following calculation must be performed:

1.03 x 100 = X

103 = X

Therefore, the diameter of the specimen in centimeters is 103 cm.
