Answer: Rutherford claimed that this also shows that the atom consists mostly of empty space.

Explanation: Rutherford concluded from his metal foil experiments that most of an atom is empty space with a tiny, dense, positively charged nucleus at the center that contains most of the mass of the atom. He also concluded that the electrons orbit the nucleus like the planets orbit the sun.

Rutherford requested that this also shows that the atom involves mostly of empty space and that all the positive charge is not uniformly spread all the way through the atom but as an alternative, squeezed into a teeny tiny nucleus in the center of the atom.

All animals are _______. a. producers b. omnivores c. herbivores d. consumers
vladimir1956 [14]

The right option is; d. consumers

All animals are consumers

Consumers are organisms that usually feed on other organisms or organic matter in order to gain energy because of their inability to manufacture their food from inorganic sources. All animals are consumers and they are also known as heterotrophs. There are different types of consumers. They include; primary consumers (herbivores e.g. goats, cows), secondary consumers (carnivores e.g. wolves, crocodile), and tertiary consumers (large carnivores e.g. eagle, lion)

NADH and FADH2 are both electron carriers that donate their electrons to the electron transport chain. The electrons ultimately
maria [59]

Answer:

Explanation:

NADH and FADH2 are both electron carriers of the electron transport chain. NADH gives up its electrons starting from Complex I, which has a higher energy level compared to other complexes. Energy is given off to pump protons across the membrane by the time electrons are transferred to ComplexIII. More electrons are pumped across the membrane as electrons move to Complex IV. Because NADH commenced giving up its electrons from Complex I (higher energy level complex), more protons are pumped across the membrane gradient, which enables ATP synthase with more power to produce 3ATP molecules per NADH molecule.

On the other hand, 2 molecules of ATP are generated by FADH2 because it starts by giving up its electrons to ComplexII. It missed a chance to pump protons across the membrane when it passed Complex I. By the time the electrons reach Complex IV, less protons have been pumped. The lesser the protons to power ATP synthase, the lesser the ATP molecules produced.

When you compress the heart in this demonstration, why does the water
kifflom [539]

Answer:

D The atrioventricular valve works as a rigid door to prevent water from escaping from the top.

Explanation:

the question is incomplete, but I annex the options and their explanation

When you compress the heart in this demo, why does the water leave the artery?

A It's like squeezing a sponge

B The arterial valve draws water from the ventricle.

C The atrioventricular valve has parachute-shaped fins to prevent water from escaping from the top.

D The atrioventricular valve works as a rigid door to prevent water from escaping from the top.

the atrioventricular valve during the contraction process closes at the top, thus avoiding the leakage of the liquid and leaving the artery that opens due to the force exerted by the volume and force of the ventricle.
