The answer is "Alarm reaction".

Alarm response refers to the early stage of general adaptation syndrome; when someone’s body reacts to a jolt or motivation which it considers stressful, like in the above case Robin’s call for a speech. It will increase the Hormonal activities inside Robin’s body releasing cortisol as stress hormone and Robin will get a boost of adrenaline. This is no controlled response rather it is automatically triggered in situations.

Choose whether you want to support or reject mercantilism? And why?
ycow [4]

Answer:

I reject it

Explanation:

The main purpose of Mercantilism is to maximize the exports of products made in one country while minimizing the imports at the same time. This is a very efficient method for a country to accumulate wealth.

But, this practice was what leading to the colonization period.

IN order to minimize import, European countries at that time attack and colonize smaller countries. They extract the resources from them and use it to sustain their own economy. Even though this made European countries gained wealth, it caused a massive economic destruction to the area they colonized.

In Schachter and Singer's study on physiological stimuli and situational context, if an individual is uninformed or misinformed
BlackZzzverrR [31]

Schachter and Singer's study suggests that emotions are the result of both cognitive and physiological processes. According to their study, individuals respond in different ways to a shot of adrenaline and that will depend on the context they find themselves in. In this situational context, if an individual is uninformed or misinformed about the effect of epinephrine and interacts with an angry person, he/she will show an angry response.

Tasks that involve identification of an object would be expected to activate neurons of the ________, while tasks that identify
Aleksandr [31]

Tasks that involve identification of an object would be expected to activate neurons of the ventral stream, while tasks that identify the location of an object would activate the dorsal stream.

Explanation:

The visual information is transferred to the temporal lobe from the primary visual cortex through the pathway of a ventral stream. The ventral stream conveys information related to object form and recognition.

The ventral stream is used for vision perception, while the dorsal stream is used for vision action.

The action and recognition of the location of the objects in space is carried out by dorsal stream. The dysfunction of the dorsal stream may lead to complexity of a visual scene and reduced visual perceptions.

How much energy in a food source is available to transfer to an organism that eats it?
Akimi4 [234]

Answer:

The average amount of energy transferred from one trophic level to the next is 10%. For example, 10% of the solar energy that is captured by phytoplankton gets passed on to zooplankton (primary consumers). Ten percent of that energy (10% of 10%, which is 1%) gets passed on to the organisms (secondary consumers) that eat the zooplankton.

Explanation:

Energy transfer in and between organisms. Within the food chain energy can be passed and transferred from one organism to another. Whilst mammals get their energy sources from food – whether this be eating other animals or eating vegetation; plants get their energy from photosynthesis. Energy is passed between organisms through the food chain.
