Answer = 288

Method:
Angles in a triangle add up to 180
The triangle is isosceles so the two interior angles at the bottom will be the same
180-36=144
Because you have two angles at the bottom you need to divide by two so
144/2=72 - that is the interior angle
To find y, all you need to do now is
360-72 = 288 (because angles round a point add up to 360)
And you have your answer
Hope this helps!

The angles in a isosceles triangle add up to 180 degrees.
so 180 degrees take away 36 degrees = 144 degrees.
base angles in a isoceles triangle are equal so 144 divided by 2 = 72 degrees.
so to find out y you do 360 - 72 = 288 degrees
therefore y = 288degrees

A clay model of a new car is 7 in. Long. The actual car is 21 ft long. Part 1: What proportion can you use to find the scale use
Lapatulllka [165]

Answer:

3ft:1in

Step-by-step explanation:

Given the clay model of a new car = 7in

If the actual car is 21ft, first we will have to convert 21ft to inches

Ift = 12in

21ft = x

x = 21×12.

x = 252in

21ft = 252in

This means that the clay model (7in) has to be scaled up to 252in. This is known as enlargement.

To know the scale of the model, we will take the ratio of the actual car to the clay as shown

Scale = actual car model/clay car model

Scale = 252/7

Scale = 36/1

We can also use the exact units of both measurement used in question

Scale = 21ft/7in

Scale = 3ft/1in

Hence the scale of the model is 3ft:1in

The question is attached<br> perimeter
ycow [4]

Answer:

62 cm

Step-by-step explanation:

48/4 = 12 so 1 side = 12

the base of the triangle therefore must also be 12 so 38 - 12 = 26

26 + 36 = 62

(2 sides of triangle + 3 sides of square)
