r a day I swear you're my new favorite person. Please help.
Describe in detail what a grassland or marine food web might look like. Include producers and consumers, the flow of energy, and the names and relationships that exist among all the organisms in the food web. Write a detailed essay. You must write 250-500 words!

Not even gonna lie- I tried to do this on my own, but I'm really not smart enough.
This deserved more than like 100 points but I only have 25 so that's all I can give.

Answer:

The Pacific Ocean (Marine ecosystem) is filled with all types of aquatic animals and crazy things that they have to do to survive. The pacific ocean is home to many species of fish, whales, sharks,  dolphins, starfish, squid and many more. To survive in their environment they need to eat each other before they get the chance to be the ones that get eaten. In other words, they need to be the predators before they get the chance to become someone else's prey.  This will naturally occur in the biome of the pacific ocean with the food webs and animals in this marine ecosystem.

Some of the main features that provide energy and the ability to live for all organisms is the sun, the salt water that the aquatic animals live in, the sand that gives prey a place to hide and disguise, coral reefs provide home for tiny fish, and trash has been a huge part of the animals living style. The trash gets thrown into the ocean and gets wrapped around the sea animals or even gets eaten by them. This could also cause the biotic factors of the pacific ocean to shift the way they eat and endanger their living environments.

Food webs are the simple but also complicated way that animals hunt and feed themselves. One of the main chains that are most common in the pacific ocean is between sharks, tuna fish, shrimp, seaweed, and the sun. In this food chain the sun starts by shining its rays down on the seaweed (Producer) so that the seaweed can absorb the sun's energy during photosynthesis, the seaweed gets eaten by the shrimp (omnivores) who are also some of the decomposers of the pacific ocean. Tuna fish (carnivores)then eat the shrimp to gain more energy to survive, and to end this food web, the tuna fish gets eaten by larger sharks(carnivores). But the predators only get 10% of the energy that could have possibly been theirs. Not just in this single food chain, but in all food webs the animals have to eat as much as they can to gather as much energy as possible. Many living things compete for their food and territory in the pacific ocean biome. Some of the types of interactions that animals have in the pacific ocean is the competition between blue whales for food. The Blue whales' main source of food is a shrimp-like sea creature called krill. To compete for the krill, the size of the whale is always most intimidating. If a huge blue whale and a smaller blue whale were trying to eat a swarm of krill, the smaller whale would back off to avoid problems and let the bigger whale take it. Another example of interactions between animals would be the clown fish and sea anemone. The sea anemone gives the clown fish a home to live in and the clown fish protects the sea anemone from other fish that would try and eat it. The pacific ocean biome has many examples of  mating interactions as well. The aquatic animals mate and reproduce more of its species in the varying temperatures of the pacific ocean. One of the mating relationships that happen in the pacific is between the Giant Pacific Octopus. The male octopus finds a mate and transfers a packet of sperm into the female's mantle. The female then carries around the packet until she can fertilize the eggs. After the female lays her eggs, she stops eating and dies away by the time her eggs hatch. And sometimes the female will eat her mate, or the male will die as well after she gives birth.

In the end, the pacific ocean biome is very large as it contains almost ⅓ of the amount of surface on earth. And since it is so huge, it contains many smaller ecosystems such as kelp forests and coral reefs. It also contains ridges and trenches formed by volcanoes under the earth's surface. It is also the home to the Great Barrier reef off of Australia’s coast.  And there is a large amount of debris and pollution that harms things in the pacific ocean biome. In conclusion  the biome of the Pacific Ocean has many animal relationships and different ways of survival.
