I think I can’t help you but
Did you write the black text because it makes no sense you put the equitation and then the other the next box
The formula for circumference is pi diameter as seen below.
And then you find area by doing 3.14 times radius^2

Here is the answers for circumference going across
43.96, 69.08, 40.82, 28.26, 57.78

Next is area going across
153.86, 379.94, 132.67, 63.59, 265.77

Let me give you an example of how I did those
The ones with half a line are radius and diameter would be times 2 that
In order to find circumference, for the second one I did 11 times 2 (22) and then 22 times 3.14 (pi)
And for the area I did the radius already given
3.14 times 11^2
You have to square the radius and times it by pi
On the other questions if diameter, the whole line across the circle, is given then divide it by 2 to get radius.
Hope that helps!

In 1984 a locally-owned car company sold 2,743 cars. In 2003, the car sales rose to 4,069. What was the average rate of change f
tatiyna

Answer:

70 cars  per year.

Step-by-step explanation:

Given:

In 1984 a locally-owned car company sold 2,743 cars.

In 2003, the car sales rose to 4,069.

Question asked:

What was the average rate of change for the total number of cars sold?

Solution:

In 2003 number of cars sold = 4069

In 1984 number of cars sold = 2743

Change in the number of car sold = 4069 - 2743

                                                         = 1326

Now, time interval between 2003 and 1984 = 19

The\ average\ rate\ of\ change=\frac{Change\ in\ the\ number\ of\ car\ sold}{Time \ interval}

                                             =\frac{1326}{19} \\=69.789\\\\=70\ cars\ per\ year\  (approx)

Thus, the average rate of change for the total number of cars sold is 70 cars  per year.

In a race Brian Collins has to cross 10 hurdles. Find the probability that he jumps a hurdle is 2/3. Find p(knocks down all hurd
Natalija [7]

Answer:  Option 'a' is correct.

Step-by-step explanation:

Since we have given that

Probability that he jumps a hurdle = \frac{2}{3}

Total number of hurdles = 10

Probability that he knocks down = 1-\frac{2}{3}=\frac{1}{3}

So, Probability (knocks down all hurdles ) is given by

(\dfrac{1}{3})^{10}\\\\=\dfrac{1}{59049}

Hence, Option 'a' is correct.

Subtract 7x-9 from 2x^2-11<br> A) 2x^2-7x-2<br> B) 2x^2+7x-20<br> C) 2x^2+7x-2
Natali [406]
We keep the 2x^2 because we can only subtract something from that if it also is squared. From there, we subtract the 7x from 2x^2-11. Since there is no previous x's in the 2x^2-11, we just make it -7x. So, without even continuing the problem, we see that A) is the correct answer because it is the only one with -7x.
