The correct answer to this open question is the following.

Although there are no options attached we can say the following.

Charleston, South Carolina and Savannah, Georgia related to the Anaconda Plan in that those were important maritime ports where the Confederate could receive weapons and war supplies from other parts, and the Anaconda Plan of the Union was to blockade southern ports along the Mississippi River to cut the Confederacy in half. This also included the important ports on the Atlantic Coast such as Charleston, South Carolina and Savannah, Georgia

General Winfield Scott had one idea that he shared with other Union generals: to block maritime ports of the Confederate states to divide the Mississippi River in two and could control the region. This would impede the passing of food, weaponry, and supplies much needed to the Confederated States. The plan was rejected by the Union Army, which rather decided to attack the Confederates.

Was the Spanish-American War more positive or negative for the United States?
weeeeeb [17]
I cant quite put it, but lots of people died from each side.  I'm going to guess negative and here is my starting sentence.

The Spanish-American war was negative because lots of men, and women died from both sides.

I'm going to let you copy the sentence above for your TOPIC sentence.  I hope this helped, but you need to know the rest.

Write a brief essay answering the following question. Why was conflict with Carthage important to the development and expansion
Marina86 [1]

Answer:

The destruction of Carthage was an act of Roman aggression prompted as much by motives of revenge for earlier wars as by greed for the rich farming lands around the city. The Carthaginian defeat was total and absolute, instilling fear and horror into Rome's enemies and allies.
