I think of a number, double it and subtract 1 and then square the answer. The result is 64. What could the number be? Give two possible answers please.

Maybe I’m missing something, but from how I understand this question 4.5 is the only possible answer.

- 4.5 doubles to 9
- subtract 1 from 9 to get 8
- square 8 for the result of 64

(This is just my logic, but maybe my thought process can help you!)
