Aloiza [94]

Answer:

The cherry tree myth is the most well-known and longest enduring legend about George Washington. In the original story, when Washington was six years old he received a hatchet as a gift and damaged his father’s cherry tree. When his father discovered what he had done, he became angry and confronted him. Young George bravely said, “I cannot tell a lie…I did cut it with my hatchet.” Washington’s father embraced him and rejoiced that his son’s honesty was worth more than a thousand trees.

Write a brief response explaining how the end of the Vietnam War affected the relationship between government and society, answe
miv72 [106K]

The end of the Vietnam war created the crisis of confidence because the nation did not trust the government for not pushing them into unwanted conflicts.

Explanation:

The end of the Vietnam war created the crisis of confidence that had not been there for the whole existence of US as till then the people had barely ever been against the nation when it went to war.

The world wars were entered with public consent and wide public support.

The Vietnam conflict was not explainable to public so they began losing their trust because the nation did not trust the government to make the right decisions for them anymore.
