History

Good morning!

In general, the Imperialists aim at the expansion of their domain, be it cultural, economic or diplomatic. Opponents of this type of position argue that it is an invasion of the sovereignty of others and that such a practice is criminal, since it modifies the environment of the nations in which such actions occur. Thus, the issues that differentiate them are basically: autonomy, contingency, and political-economic stance.

Oksana_A [137]

Answer:

Queen Elizabeth achieved many things as Queen! Such as the defeat of the great Spanish Armada (which is regarded as one of the greatest military victories in English history) and the Elizabethan Religious Settlement (which provided a long lasting middle way between Roman Catholicism and Protestantism).

Explanation:

Elizabeth I established Protestantism in England, defeated the Spanish Armada in 1588, maintained peace inside her previously divided country, and created an environment where the arts flourished. She was sometimes called the "Virgin Queen", as she never married.

According to andrew jackson what is required of the national government for it to be worth defending
Rainbow [258]
Jackson believed that out of all the officials in the federal government, the only one who truly represented all the people was the president. Members of the House of Representatives served only their own districts; senators represented their own states (and were at this time chosen by the state legislatures, not elected directly by the voters); and Supreme Court justices and federal judges were appointed, not elected. As president, then, he felt a special responsibility to protect the people's rights and interests. Jackson also believed that the government should not favor any one person or group over others; that is, it should not favor the few at the expense of the many. This belief contributed to Jackson's decision to veto the re-charter of the Second Bank of the United States, unleashing what came to be called "the Bank War."
