Ah ok. Sorry this is due to what its called, not what it is.

Explanation:

This is a table of the MRNA that is transcribed to make protiens.

The UCAG found on the graph are the different RNA bases.

A single base codes for a single part of a protien.

A codon is made up of 3 base pairs. A single codon codes for a protien.

So lets look at the first 3 bases - AUG

This looks like MET

So, let me show you how I found this:

The first base pair is A, looking at the left 4 letters, we see is the third row down.

The second base pair is U, looking at the top, we see is this first row.

Now we know its the third row down, and the first one to the left.

So now we have 4 possible protiens.

To find the exact one, use the third base pair, which is G. This is the bottom of the mini row found in the right side.

Doing this, we find that MET is the protien.

To be honest I dislike this table, so I will be using the one attached below.

Anyway, this MET protient removed option B.

Next we have Codon CUC

Looking at my graph below, I see that CUC codes for LEU.

This removes ooptions A and D, leaving C.

But now we need to check wether it is C or none of the above.

Again, I take codon AAG, and find lys. This is in anser C.

I take codon UGC, and find cys. This is in answer c.

Finally, I take codon UUC, and find PHe. This is answer c.

So C is your answer.
