Answer:

x = 9

Step-by-step explanation:

(13x + 2) + (5x -7 ) + (3x-4) = 180°( sum of angles in a triangle)

13x + 2 + 5x - 7 + 3x - 4 = 180

13x + 5x +3x + 2 - 7 - 4 = 180

21x - 9 = 180

add 9 to both sides

21x - 9 + 9 = 180 + 9

21x = 189

Divide through by 21

x = 9

The work shows how to use long division to find?
KIM [24]

Answer:

remainder = \frac{1}{x-2}

Step-by-step explanation:

The remainder is the value of the subtraction of the last 2 lines in the procedure.

  5x - 9

- (5x - 10)

That is

5x - 5x = 0 and - 9 - (- 10) = - 9 + 10 = 1

over the divisor x- 2 , gives

remainder = \frac{1}{x-2}

What does the following expression mean? x <= y
Lyrx [107]

As per inequality, it means that the value of x can be less than or equal to y.

Inequality in Mathematics

The two expressions that make up an equation or an inequality are connected in a mathematical statement. The equal sign (=) in an equation denotes the equality of the two expressions. The symbols >, <, ≤, or ≥ are used to denote an inequality, when the two expressions aren't always equal.

Type of Inequality

The given expression, x <= y denotes the type of inequality where the possible values of x are either less than y or equal to less. The value of x cannot be greater than y in any case.
