Choose all the statements that are true for Relative Age Dating.
Lorico [155]

Answer:

Which one goes in the absolute dating column, relative column, and both.

Lesson 4.07: Relative and Absolute Dating DIRECTIONS: Use the facts below to complete the chart for Relative and Absolute Dating.

1. The Law of Superposition – the age of an object may be determined by the depth at which it is found, the deeper the object is in the Earth, the older it is.

2. Gives scientist an exact age of a rock fossil.

3. Scientist use their knowledge of the half-life of carbon and uranium isotopes to measure the age of the rock or fossil .

4. Used to determine the age of an object, when there is no record of a living thing.

5. Gives the approximate age of a fossil or artifact.

6. Used by scientist to determine the age of a fossil or artifact.

7. Estimates the order of geological or prehistoric events, but cannot be used to determine when these events have occurred.

8. Measures the decay of a rock or fossil to measure the age.

The (triangle)Hrxn of formation of carbon dioxide is negative. Which statement is true? The reaction is endothermic. The reactio
ANEK [815]
The negative ion reactions that consist of the formation of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere is generally an exothermic reaction. By definition, an exothermic reaction takes place when the chemical process eventually releases heat as its by-product. It is in contrast in endothermic process wherein heat is absorbed.

A gas is heated from 263.0 K to 298.0 K and the volume is increased from 24.0 liters to 35.0 liters by moving a large piston wit
Evgesh-ka [11]

Answer:

The answer to your question is   P2 = 0.78 atm

Explanation:

Data

Temperature 1 = T1 = 263°K                 Temperature 2 = T2 = 298°K

Volume 1 = V1 = 24 L                             Volume 2 = V2 = 35 L

Pressure 1 = P1 = 1                                  Pressure 2 = P2 = ?

Process

1.- To solve this problem use the Combined gas law

                          P1V1/T1 = P2V2/T2

-Solve for P2

                           P2 = P1V1T2 / T1V2

-Substitution

                          P2 = (1)(24)(298) / (263)(35)

-Simplification

                          P2 = 7152 / 9205

-Result

                          P2 = 0.777

   or                    P2 = 0.78 atm
