Karen is prospecting, which does occur within the larger category of preapproach. She is actively identify prospective customers to differentiate those who would most likely to buy her product, but she has yet to carry out interactions, she is still organizing her ideas and identifying her likely customers, but not actively engaging with a presentation or approach, as such this is prospecting.

Suppose you examine the central bank’s balance sheet and observe that since the previous day, reserves had fallen by $100 millio
aksik [14]

Answer:

The Central Bank is trying to increase money supply.

Explanation:

When the Central Bank makes moves to increase reserves, it means that it is simply trying to mop up excess cash from the economy to fight inflation. Spiking inflation means that the power of a currency is gradually being eroded. The Central Bank cannot allow this to happen so it hits the "Reduce Money In Circulation" button. It does this by reviewing upwards, the money reserves which commercial banks must hold with the Central Bank.

It can also increase the rate at which it lends to the Commercial Banks and Investment houses. Commercial Banks, in turn, transfer the additional cost of borrowing to businesses who will seek loans. This slows down the rate at which money is pumped into the economy.

In the question, however, we notice that the Central Bank has enervated its reserves. This means that it is pumping more money into the economy. This economic move may have been executed to prevent the economy from slipping into a recession or simply to stimulate the economy.

In the short run, increased money supply means, businesses have more access to funds from commercial banks. More funds mean, more investment. Increased investment spending means the businesses will need to expand operations, hire more staff, and the multiplier effect goes on and on.

Cheers!

During the month of April, direct labor cost totaled $9,750 and direct labor cost was 30% of prime cost. If total manufacturing
MatroZZZ [7]

Answer:

manufacturing overhead= $42,000

Explanation:

Giving the following information:

Direct labor= $9,750 (30% of prime costs)

Total manufacturing costs= $74,500

First, we need to determine the direct material costs. We know that prime costs are the sum of direct labor and direct material.

Prime costs= direct labor / 0.3

Prime costs= 9,750 /0.3

Prime costs= $32,500

Direct material= 32,500 - 9,750

Direct material= $22,750

Now, we can calculate the manufacturing overhead:

Total manufacturing costs= direct labor + direct material + manufacturing overhead

74,500 = 9,750 + 22,750 + manufacturing overhead

manufacturing overhead= $42,000

Manufacturing OH estimated $595,000

Divide by DLH estimated 35000

OH rate per DLH $17

Beginning Inventory of WIP $19,000

Current manufacturing cost

material $420,000

Labour $641,000

Manufacturing OH (33,000 × $17) $561000

Total Manufacturing cost $1,622,000

Total cost of WIP $1,641,000

Less: Cost of goods manufactured $1,441,000

Ending inventory of WIP $200,000
