Which best describes the lifestyle of the Native Americans in the eastern woodland region ?
Yuliya22 [10]

B. They farmed corn, hunted, and lived in villages. The indians´s lifestyle in the eastern region was simple. The Eastern Woodland Culture consisted of Indian tribes inhabiting the eastern United States and Canada.

The Adena and Hopewell were the earliest historic Eastern Woodland inhabitants. They were hunters and gatherers who erected seasonal camps. They lived in villages and supplemented their diet with cultivated plants. Later peoples of the Eastern Woodlands included the Illinois, Iroquois, Shawnee and a number of Algonkian-speaking peoples. Eastern Woodland tribes´s societies were typically divided into classes (a chief, children, the nobility and commoners).

The natives were deer-hunters and farmers. The men made bows and arrows, stone knives and war clubs. The women tended garden plots where beans, corn, pumpkin, squash and tobacco were cultivated. The diet of deer meat was supplemented by shellfish.

Which claim would most likely come from an argumentative essay rather than
an explanatory essay?
frozen [14]

Answer:

B

Explanation:

The claim in answer B gives an opinion. This is an arguable topic; it claims that globalization should be stopped. However, many would disagree saying it is a good thing. Since the topic can be argued, it would better fit an argumentative essay. The other claims give facts, not opinions, therefore they would fit in explanatory essays.

During the late nineteenth century, the equal protection clause was severely limited in scope by the supreme court.

The Fourteenth amendment's Equal Protection Clause requires states to practice equal protection. Equal protection suggests a nation govern impartially—no longer draw distinctions between people completely on differences that are irrelevant to a legitimate governmental objective.

The equal protection Clause is part of the first phase of the Fourteenth change to the American constitution. The clause took impact in 1868.

The equal protection Clause of the 14th amendment prohibits states from denying any individual inside its jurisdiction the equal safety of the law. In different phrases, the laws of a state must treat an individual in an identical manner as other humans in comparable conditions and occasions.
