Answer:

shen's new area will be 1200 ft ^ 2

It will be 2 times the original

Donna should increase the length by 5 times

Step-by-step explanation:

Original length = 40

New length = 30 x 4 = 120

Original width = 20

New width = 20 x 5 = 100

120 x 100 = 12000 ft^2

12000/600 = 20

It will be 20 times larger

For Donna:

ex:

length = 1

width = 2

Area = 2

He wants it to be 15 times 2

Lisa says increase 4 times

2 x 3 = 6

30/6 = 5

Let C = {n ∈ Z | n = 6r – 5 for some integer r} and D = {m ∈ Z | m = 3s + 1 for some integer s}.
noname [10]

Its is true that C ⊆ D means Every element of C is present in D

According to he question,

Let C = {n ∈ Z | n = 6r – 5 for some integer r}

D = {m ∈ Z | m = 3s + 1 for some integer s}

We have to prove : C ⊆ D

Proof : Let n ∈ C

Then there exists an integer r such that:

n = 6r - 5

Since -5 = -6 + 1

=> n = 6r - 6 + 1

Using distributive property,

=> n = 3(2r - 2) +1

Since , 2 and r are the integers , their product 2r is also an integer and the difference 2r - 2 is also an integer then

Let s = 2r - 2

Then, m = 3r + 1 with r some integer and thus m ∈ D

Since , every element of C is also an element of D

Hence ,  C ⊆ D proved !

Similarly, you have to prove D ⊆ C

Danielle wants to paint her daughter's room pink. Which plan will give her paint that is the least red?
NeTakaya

Step-by-step explanation:

Plan B:

2:5 = 0.4 red to 1 white

1:4 = 0.25 red to 1 white

Students might also scale up using part-to-whole-ratios and come up with 35 parts total and 14 parts red for Plan A and 35 parts total and 7 parts red for Plan B.
