30 miles

Solution:
1 mile = 5280 feets
1 hour = 3600 seconds

In 1 second train travels 44 feets,
in 1 hour (3600 seconds) train travels 3600 x 44 = 158400 feets

158400 feets in miles.
158400 ÷ 5280 = 30 miles

therefore 30 miles per hour

Answer is 2xy/ab

Explanation:

Step1: find the the common denominator

In this case the common denominator is 3ab so the equation is rewritten as xy+5xy/3ab

Step 2: add like terms
If like terms are added the new equation is 6xy/3ab since xy+5xy=6xy

Step 3: simplify
To simplify you must find a least common factor which is this case is 3 so therefore when 3 is factored from 6xy/3ab the new equation is 2xy/ab

The graph compares the number of filled tables at a party with the number of party guests. Which information tells you that the
Galina-37 [17]

Answer:

B

Step-by-step explanation:

A proportional relationship is represented by linear function with its linear parameter "b" equal to zero. Since b is equal to zero, the line passes through the origin and the function/relation is proportional.

To verify that we divide the y coordinate over the x coordinate we obtain a constant called k, which is the slope.

For instance:

y=2x

According to this function we can easily check a proportional relationship among its points:

(1,2), (2,4), (4,8), (6,12), ...

k=\frac{y}{x}=\frac{2}{1}=\frac{4}{2}=\frac{12}{6}\Rightarrow k=2

PLEASE HELP ASAP! I have no idea where to start with this.
lozanna [386]

Answer:

h (-5) = 41/4 or 10.25

h (-2) = -3

h (3) = 25/4 or 6.25

Step-by-step explanation:

h (-5) = 1/4(-5)^2 + 4

h (-5) = 1/4(25) + 4

h (-5) = 41/4 or 10.25

h (-2) = -3 (this is given to you in the function)

h (3) = 1/4 (3)^2 + 4

h (3) = 1/4(9) + 4

h (3) = 25/4 or 6.25
