What is the domain of the function?
son4ous [18]

Answer: -6 ≤ x < 4

Step-by-step explanation:

Open circles on a graph mean that that point is not included

Filled in circles on a graph mean that that point is included

As a result, the end point (-6, -6) is included while (4, 8) is not

The domain is all possible x-values so the graph can be anywhere from:

-6 ≤ x < 4

Note that there are no possible values for the x-value of 4

If h(x)=6-x what is the value of (h•h)(110)
Irina18 [472]

The given function : h(x) = 6 - x

We know that for any functions f(x) and g(x)

f*g (x)=f(x)\times g(x)

Therefore , h*h (x)=h(x)\times h(x)

h*h (x)=(6-x)(6-x)=(6-x)^2

h*h (x)=(6)^2-2(6)(x)+x^2 [ Using identity   (a-b)^2=a^2+2ab+b^2 ]

h*h (x)=36-12(x)+x^2

\-------->\ h*h (x)=36-12(x)+x^2 Now, at x= 10 , we get

h*h (10)=36-12(10)+(10)^2

h*h (10)=36-120+100=36+100-120=136-120=16

Hence, the value of (h*h)(10) = 16

How many angle degrees does a minute hand travel in 1 minute? What angle does an hour hand travel in 1 min?
Rama09 [41]

Answer:

The hour hand moves 360 degrees / 12 in an hour = 30 degrees.

It follows that in a minute it moves 30 degrees / 60 = 1/2 degree.

Therefore in a second it moves 1/2 degrees / 60 = 1/120 degree.
