Answer:

Depreciation expense in 2021 =$2420.50

Depreciation expense in 2019 = $1442

Explanation:

The following steps would be taken to determine the answer

1. Calculate depreciation expense given the initial information

2. calculate the accumulated depreciation by the second year. Accumulated depreciation is sum of depreciation expense

3. subtract the accumulated depreciation from the cost price of the asset. This would give the book value

4. calculate the depreciation expense using the new information and the book value

Straight line depreciation expense = (Cost of asset - Salvage value) / useful life

($8,240 - $1030) / 5 = $1442

Accumulated depreciation by January 2021 = $1442 x 2 = $2884

Book value = $8,240 - $2884 = $5356

New useful life = 2 years

Salvage value = $515

Depreciation expense in 2021 = ($5356 - $515) / 2 = $2420.50

 swim department net sales--------------------- $1,150,000

 cost of goods sold<span> -------------------------------- $638,400</span>

This means its gross profit is $511,600  (net sales of $1,150,000 minus its cost of goods sold of $638,400) and its gross margin ratio is 44% (gross profit of $511,600  divided by net sales of $1,150,000).

Displacement is the defense mechanism. Devised by the Freud's daughter Anna Frued which is one delicate follower of the Psychoanalysis theory and therapy pionnered by Sigmund himself. Defense mechanisms are told to be formed when there is a presence of anxiety, these anxieties are shaped when the id, ego and superego contradicts and coerces with one another. PC Bell, a computer manufacturer that sells computer systems directly to customers, buys a computer chip for $150, software
Stella [2.4K]

Answer:

The price is $1,540

Explanation:

The reason is that the profit share is $1,100 and the cost includes computer chip, software and printer which are worth $150, $250 and $40.

The price can be calculated using the following formula:

Price - Cost = Profit

Here profit is $1100 and cost is $440 (150+250+40)

By putting the values we have:

Price - $440 = $1100

Price = $1100 + $440 = $1540
