Answer: \dfrac{12}{5}\ km^2

Step-by-step explanation:

Given

The area of land is 6\frac{2}{5}\ km^2

Daud divide the land into 8 equal plots

So, the area of a single small plot is

\Rightarrow \dfrac{\dfrac{30+2}{5}}{8}\\\\\Rightarrow \dfrac{32}{5\times 8}\\\\\Rightarrow \dfrac{4}{5}\ km^2

The area of three such plots

\Rightarrow 3\times \dfrac{4}{5}\\\\\Rightarrow \dfrac{12}{5}\ km^2

nata0808 [166]
We have three numbers to arrange so that 6 is 1/10 of the value of the other six.

Since position tells us whether we're talking about single, tens, hundreds, thousands (e.g. 25 is two times 10 plus five times 1) we know that the two sixes must be next to each other.

This leaves us with two options.
663 or 366.

In each of these cases the second 6 in the number is one tenth of the first 6.

If we look at the only other option: 636 we see that the second 6 is one hundredth of the value of the first 6.

I need to know the answer to this question
Daniel [21]
So if you need 1/2 cup for a 3-layer, then it means that you need a third of that for a one-layer. you need to divide 1/2 by 3. It is easier to get that if you use another form of 1/2, for example 3/6. In this case you simply divide this by 3 and you'll get 1/6.

Answer:

Your answers are correct.

Step-by-step explanation:

The equality will be true for odd multiples of π/4, so the last two choices will not show the expression to be <em>not</em> an identity.
